Humbug Marsh Open House
Saturday, March 29, 2008 • 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge Gateway
Trenton, MI

The International Wildlife Refuge Alliance in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will host a series of spring nature programs at the Humbug Marsh Unit of the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge. These offerings will give visitors the opportunity to get outdoors and learn about nature at the marsh during winter.

On March 29, enjoy a hike through the pristine natural areas and trails of Humbug Marsh.

Participants should dress for the weather and wear boots. Hikes are about a mile in length. Slippery conditions may be present. No pets please.

Registration: No registration is required for this free event.

Location: Humbug Marsh is located in the cities of Trenton and Gibraltar off of Jefferson Avenue 1 mile south of Van Horn road.

Parking: Parking is located along Jefferson Avenue on the east side of the road. For larger crowds, parking is available 1/4 mile north of the Humbug Marsh Unit gate on the east side of Jefferson, across from the Knights of Columbus building.
