Existing Conditions: This general area is ideal for a proposed launch due to nearby amenities in downtown Rockwood and would provide a much-needed rest area when paddling from Flat Rock.
Recommendations: Pursue partnership with a private landowner/business to construct a launch and related amenities. |

Dodge Park Existing Conditions: This is an undeveloped launch site with gravel access drive. Recommendations: Provide grade adjustments to improve existing soft shore access and identify with signage. |

Abutments of the D.U.R Electric Line The Detroit United Railway electric trolley line operated through the Rockwood, South Rockwood area from 1903 to 1933. Abutments from a steel bridge completed in 1913 are visible to paddlers near I-75. |
