Every two years, MAC convenes a bipartisan, intra-regional Legislative Policy Platform Committee to set the organization’s policy principles and priorities for the upcoming legislative session. These principles and priorities provide a framework for the MAC Board to convene experts and thought leaders on critical issues – driving the organization toward its goal of supporting equity and sustainability, creating economic opportunity, improving quality of life, and promoting regional cooperation in Southeast Michigan.
